Stephens named NFCA All-American

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Trevecca freshman Lindsey Stephens is one of 32 student-athletes from 15 different institutions to have earned the distinguished honor of being named as a 2012 NFCA NAIA All-American.

Stephens, a 5-foot-six freshman from Pulaski County High School in Somerset, Ky., helped lead Trevecca to the 2012 NCCAA National Championships and a 38-16-1 record. The team also won its first NCCAA Mid-East Regional Championship.
 
The freshman third baseman was selected to the 2012 NCCAA All-Tournament team and was named the NCCAA Student-Athlete of the Week on May 1st. Stephens led the team with a .372 batting average and added 38 runs scored, 17 doubles, three triples, three home runs, and 34 RBI.
