INDIANAPOLIS – According to a recent announcement, Georgetown College will re-apply for NCAA Division II membership at the next opportunity following a unanimous vote by the institution’s Board of Trustees. Georgetown will remain a Provisional Member of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) as they continue forward in the process.
“We are pleased to hear that Georgetown has elected to re-submit its application for NCAA Division II membership,” said Tom Daeger. “We feel Georgetown is an excellent candidate for active membership status and are encouraged by the prospects of a successful application.”

GEORGETOWN, Kentucky - Reaffirming its commitment to be a National Collegiate Athletics Association member, Georgetown College's Board of Trustees today unanimously voted to authorize GC officials to re-submit Georgetown's application to join the NCAA's Division II.
According to the College's President Bill Crouch, "With this allocation of extra time, we are confident that Georgetown College will meet all of the NCAA DII requirements and expectations for membership."
