CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Cedarville University middle hitter Stephanie Rogers has landed a spot on the American Volleyball Coaches Association NCCAA All-America Team for the 2011 season.
Rogers, a 5-foot-11 sophomore from Carmel, Ind., is one of 14 players on the elite list. It is the 14th consecutive year that a Lady Jacket has achieved All-America recognition.
Rogers guided CU to a 22-18 record. She paced the squad at the net with averages of 2.91 kills and 1.02 blocks per set.
Emilie Morrison and Kara Yutzy are NCCAA Scholar-Athletes. The list includes juniors and seniors with a minimum 3.40 cumulative grade point average.
Morrison is a senior early childhood education major from Mount Vernon, Iowa. Yutzy is a junior chemistry major from West Jefferson, Ohio.
