CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Lady Jacket defender Emily Niedermayer has been voted to the 2011 All-NCCAA Midwest Region Team.

Niedermayer, a sophomore from Buffalo Grove, Ill., was the only Cedarville player to earn a spot on the 13-member squad. It includes four forwards, four midfielders, four defenders, and a goalkeeper.

Niedermayer was one of two players to start all 18 matches for the Lady Jackets this season. Her play on the back line helped Cedarville to a 7-9-2 record, six shutouts, and a berth in the Ohio Independent Championship semifinals.
