OCSA honors Lady Jackets

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Emily Niedermayer, Deanne Bradshaw, and Rachel Brownfield head up Cedarville’s contingent on the 2011 Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association Teams.

Niedermayer, a sophomore from Buffalo Grove, Ill., was one of four defenders selected to the 12-member All-OCSA NCAA Division II / NAIA Women’s Soccer Team. She started all 18 games in the back for the 7-9-2 Lady Jackets with one goal scored.

Bradshaw, a sophomore midfielder from Troy, Mich., and Brownfield, a senior forward from Hilliard, Ohio, were named to the second team.

Niedermayer, Bradshaw, and Brownfield all earned spots on the All-Ohio Academic First Team among NCAA Division II / NAIA members. Jill Davis, Kelsey Watkins, and Morgan Ziegler were tabbed to the second team.
