PEPPER PIKE, Ohio - The Ursuline College soccer program not only had its best season in program history, but also had the best season in school history regardless of the sport. With the season complete, the post-season honors began to roll in for the 14-3-1 Arrows.

Recently at the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) national convention, head coach Jason Kubbins was runner-up NCAA Division II Ohio Coach of the Year.

Kubbins was not the only honoree at the convention, as goalkeeper Rachael Smith and defender Brittany Prato were named NCAA Division II All-Ohio First Team; and midfielder Anna Feitl and forward Paige Rowan were named NCAA Division II All-Ohio Second Team.

Previously, the Arrows piled up a bunch of other awards and recognition. Rowan was named co-freshman of the year in the Independents Collegiate Athletic Association, and if it were not for the early nominations - it would have been likely that she would have captured the honor alone. At the time of the nomination, Rowan had only eight goals and two assists in 15 games. She end the season, 18 games with 13 goals and three assists.

The All-ICAA First Team included Amanda Levaskeivch (midfield) and Prato, while Rowan, Leah Sweet (defense), and Smith earned All-ICAA Second Team honors. Eight forwards, eight midfielders, six defensive players and two goalkeepers made up the two All-ICAA teams.

The Arrows also brought home the maximum six All-OIC honors Feitl, Prato, and Smith were all named to the All-OIC first team, while Rowan, Levaskevich, and Sweet were selected to the All-OIC second team.
