PEPPER PIKE, Ohio - With the Ursuline Soccer season complete, the post-season honors continue to pile up for the 14-3-1 Arrows. Freshman Paige Rowan was named co-freshman of the year in the Independents Collegiate Athletic Association, and if it were not for the early nominations - it would have been likely that she would have captured the honor alone.
At the time of the nomination, Rowan had only eight goals and two assists in 15 games. She end the season, 18 games with 13 goals and three assists.
The All-ICAA First Team included Amanda Levaskeivch (midfield) and Brittany Prato (defense), while Rowan (forward), Leah Sweet (defense), and Rachael Smith (goalkeeper) earned All-ICAA Second Team honors. Eight forwards, eight midfielders, six defensive players and two goalkeepers made up the two All-ICAA teams.
The ICAA is composed of NCAA Division II schools that are not in a conference. Women’s soccer members are Chowan, Central Oklahoma, Lindenwood, Notre Dame College, Oakland City, Palm Beach Atlantic, Urbana, Ursuline and Washington Adventist.
