CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Steve Ellis, James Twinem, and Ryan Thurman have been selected to the 2011 All-Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association NCAA Division II / NAIA Team.
It marks the first time since 2000 that Cedarville has had a player recognized with All-OCSA honors.
Ellis, a junior from Irwin, Pa., is one of three defenders on the 11-player first team. He started all 23 matches in the back for the 14-6-3 Yellow Jackets, who posted six shutouts. Ellis also contributed three assists.
Twinem and Thurman landed on the 11-player second team. Twinem, a senior midfielder from Aylmer, Ontario, paced CU in scoring. He started all 23 matches with 10 goals and 5 assists for 25 points.
Thurman, a junior forward from Cincinnati, Ohio, led the squad with 9 assists appearing in 22 matches with nine starts. He added three goals and finished third on the club in scoring with 15 points.
