INDIANAPOLIS - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference has announced that JP Nyadaro of Trevecca Nazarene University has been named the G-MAC Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week.

JP Nyadaro guided Trevecca Nazarene to a come from behind win over McKendree University, ending its six-game winning streak, and giving the Trojans its second win in the last three games, as they closed out the 2012 portion of the schedule.  
 
Nyadaro led the team with 17 points, while pulling down nine rebounds. However, his contribution on offense may have been second to his performance on the defensive side of the ball. Nyadaro blocked seven shots and recorded a steal as the team rallied from down six at halftime to a 10 point victory at home.
 
Nyadaro ranks ninth in the conference in scoring with 11.6 points per game, while ranking second in rebounding (6.3 rpg), field goal percentage (57.3%), and blocked shots (19).
