INDIANAPOLIS - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference has announced Ciara Geiger of Urbana University is the Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week for the second-straight week.

For the second straight week, Ciara Geiger is the G-MAC Women’s Basketball Athlete of the Week. Over the Thanksgiving Holiday, the Blue Knights had a busy week, playing in three contests. Despite dropping all three games, Geiger did her part to keep the team in each of the games. She scored 20 points or more in each contest, averaging 22 points per game.

She recorded a career-high nine steals, and tied her season-high with 24 points in a 10-point loss against Northern Michigan on Sunday. She has led her team in scoring in five of the six games this season, and in the game in which she did not lead the team, she still managed to score 20 points in a overtime loss to Hillsdale on the road this past week.
 
She leads the team and conference in scoring (21.2 ppg) and steals (3.67 spg), while leading the team in shooting (47%) and 3-point percentage (35.1%) as well.
