INDIANAPOLIS - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference has announced that Austin Foote of Cedarville University has been named this weeks Men's Basketball Athlete of the Week.

Austin Foote averaged 16.5 points over two games this past week. In the team’s victory at home over Saginaw Valley State University, Foote scored 15 points on a perfect 6-6 shooting, including going 3-3 from three-point range. He added a pair of rebounds and season-high three assists.

In the team’s loss to #8 Findlay on the road, he scored a team-high and season-high 18 points, while grabbing four rebounds and handing out two assists. Foote is averaging 14.0 points a game this season, which ranks in the top-five in the G-MAC.
