As the regular-season came to a close this past week, the Lady Jackets wrapped up the #1 seed in the G-MAC Championships, which Cedarville will host. After finishing with a perfect 9-0 conference record, Stephanie Rogers has been named the G-MAC Volleyball Athlete of the Week.
Rogers recorded a match-high 20 kills against Trevecca Nazarene University, who will be the #2 seed in the tournament, in a 3-1 win to wrap up the top seed. Rogers totaled 35 kills, 10 digs, and 4.5 blocks over the last week of the season. This is Rogers first Athlete of the Week award, as her numbers have not been flashy, but consistent, which has allowed her to finish the season ranked among the best in the conference in multiple categories.
Rogers holds the best hitting percentage in the conference at .313 (334-92-774). She ranks fifth in kills and ranks second in blocks per game, but has totaled the most blocks (94) in the conference.
