INDIANAPOLIS - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference has released its Women's Athlete of the Week: Meghan Taucher from Urbana posted two shutouts in a 1-0-1 week, including her fifth scoreless double-overtime shutout tie.

Meghan Taucher recorded two shutouts in goal during a 1-0-1 week for Urbana. The first shutout came in a G-MAC contest with Cedarville as the game ended in a scoreless draw. Taucher made nine saves in the tie, which was her fifth career 110-minute shutout in a double-overtime scoreless draw.
She also shutout Ohio Mid-Western College in a 3-0 win on her Senior Day. Taucher now has 5.5 shutouts this season and 11.5 career shutouts, which ranks third all-time at Urbana. She leads the G-MAC in saves with 81. As a side note, Meghan's week wasn't over, as she was crowned Homecoming Queen at halftime of the Urbana football game on Saturday.
