CEDARVILLE, Ohio - (courtesy of @CUYellowJackets and @UUsports) Cedarville and Urbana failed to settle things after 110 minutes of women’s soccer resulting in a scoreless draw in a Great Midwest Athletic Conference match.

There were ample opportunities during the evening. The Lady Jackets totaled 21 shots with 10 on frame. The Blue Knights had 10 shots overall with six on goal. However, Cedarville owned the run of play in the 20 minutes of overtime with a 5-1 advantage in shots. Alysia Bennett made six saves in goal for the Jackets. She increased her school-record career shutouts total to 16.

Senior Mikaela Tolbert had a decent look and slid into the ball and a Yellow Jacket defender, but the blast sailed just right of the goal as the final horn sounded.  UU keeper Meghan Taucher picked up her 10th career solo shutout in goal.  Five of those shutouts were earned the hard way, in a scoreless 110-minute draw.  Her 9 saves give her 79 on the season, which currently leads the G-MAC.

It was the second 0-0 deadlock in the last three home dates for Cedarville, who have concluded its conference schedule at 1-1-1. The Yellow Jackets played to a scoreless tie against Shepherd on Oct. 4.

For Urbana, it was also the second time in less than a week, the team ended a contest in a scoreless draw. The Blue Knights stay at .500 with the tie, moving to 6-6-2 and 0-1-1 in the G-MAC.

Cedarville moves to 4-8-2 overall, while Urbana's regular season finale at Ursuline College in 12 days will determine the remaining seeds for the conference tournament which will be hosted by the already-determined #1 seed, undefeated Trevecca Nazarene University.
